Wood-Tex Products was founded in 1983 by the Lapp family and continues to be successfully family owned and operated.
Wood-Tex Products has expanded many times over the years to accommodate the growing demand for quality storage sheds and barns. During the first few years, there were only three shed styles to choose from. Now our list includes a variety of shed designs and styles as well as Garages, Gazebos, Horse Barns, Run-In Sheds, Log Cabins, Chicken Coops and more!

We would love to see you here! Wood-Tex has more than 5 acres filled with over 200 sheds and barns so you are sure to get some great ideas for your paint, siding and shingle color schemes. You will also see first hand the quality and care that goes into everything we build.
We are located right along Rt. 14 which runs directly beside the beautiful Seneca Lake in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region. You will experience some of the finest scenery in this beautiful area on your drive to see us. You may even wish to allow time to enjoy the gorgeous falls, relaxing parks, favorite tourist attractions and restaurants in the area.

What do you like about your job? I enjoy the interaction with fellow workers and with the customers themselves. Figuring out what the best way to build each barn is also challenging, but very rewarding and there is a lot of fulfillment in presenting the finished product.
